Dr. Vincenzo Castellano is a board certified Hospital for Special Surgery physician specializing in Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine. He treats disorders of the back, neck, joints and muscles. In addition, Dr. Castellano performs various minimally invasive procedures, including epidural steroid injections. Furthermore, he performs electrodiagnostic tests, such as EMGs and nerve conduction studies, to aid in the diagnosis of muscle and nerve pathologies.
Dr. Castellano underwent his undergraduate studies at Columbia University. He then attended the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine. Dr. Castellano completed his residency at UCLA / GLAVA Medical Centers. Subsequently, he underwent a fellowship in Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine at Hospital for Special Surgery.
Dr. Castellano is fluent in Italian and has working knowledge of Spanish. His office is conveniently located at Hospital for Special Surgery’s Integrative Care Center. The Integrative Care Center is a Hospital for Special Surgery facility dedicated to offering the latest in conventional medical treatments along with complimentary therapies to promote the wellness of patients with various musculoskeletal issues. In 2008, Dr. Castellano had the honor of being chosen as the third Medical Director in the history of the Integrative Care Center.
