Wrist injuries are common among professional golfers and can cause much pain to the athlete as well as their careers. Hospital for Special Surgery orthopedic Doctor Andrew Weiland operated on PGA Tour’s Luke Donald and Jim Furyk after they suffered wrist injuries that had prevented them from playing. However, Furyk who had a tear to the triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFC) in his left wrist and Donald who had a tear to the ECU tendon sheath in the same wrist were both able to return to the green after receiving care from Dr. Weiland at Hospital for Special Surgery.
